Baby Girl Dresses 12-18 Months

Matching/coordinating outfits for mother and daughters?

I got a couple rude responses in the fashion section so Im posting here. My girls are 3 years old and 9 months old, Id like to at least coordinate well with them such as a floral romper for the baby, pretty dress or outfit for the 3 year old and a dress for me with the same color scheme, not matching completely. Any ideas?
Normally I would never dream of matching entire outfits with my two daughters and myself but my husband is coming home from overseas and I’d like to coordinate at least a basic color/theme. If you’ve ever seen how crowded and crazy a military homecoming can be, you’d understand how it makes sense for me to tell him to look for pink, blue, green or whatever we decide on. I know many families who will all wear the same color for homecomings just for this reason but I’ve lost a lot of weight and the girls have grown, plus we’re going directly to dinner after(hubby’s choice, not mine) I’ve seen matching kids outfits such as a dress for my older daughter and romper for my younger daughter but nothing for me. Help! Where can I look? Sizes are women’s 12-14, girls 5-6 and baby 12-18 months.

Adam answers:

Maybe you could do the same color, but not necessarily matchy-matchy. Personally, I think if a mother and daughter are matching too well, someone’s wearing the wrong outfit! However, you have practical reasons in this case, so that’s different. Gap tends to have the same colors, whether in Gap Baby, or just plain Gap- you could probably find the same color there. Same thing with Old Navy.

Hope that helps!

What should I do with all these cute baby clothes?

I have a ton of cute dresses, outfits, sleepers, you name it that my daughter grew out of. I tried to take them to the baby exchange here but they are closing at the end of Feb. so they are not accepting anything. The clothes I have are soooo adorable and alot of them haven’t even been worn, ages 0-3 and 3-6 months and some 6, 9 month clothing too. I thought about selling them on ebay but I don’t have the time to run to the post office and mail these things out. Should I just give them away to a thrift store? Seems like such a waste and my baby girl needs new clothing now. I would ideally like to trade them for her size which is 12-18 months. I also need the space that these clothes are taking up though. What should I do with all these cute baby clothes?

Desperate Need Of White Baby..?

Clothes! My son is filming a commercial on Wednesday and they never give me the details until 24 hours prior. They just now told me that he will need to be wearing all White. I need to bring everything that I own that is completely White.. I don’t have anything! I was at Target and Carter’s earlier but I didn’t see anything plain besides onesies. I don’t care if it is for girls, as long as it’s White and not a dress… so something not so noticable if it IS for girls.

This includes socks. I have White socks but they have Grey toes and ankles. She also said they can’t leave marks on his legs from being tight. He is currently wearing 12-18 month socks, should I go up to 2T?
Thanks I will definately try JC! I just went to Macy, Sears, Children’s Place, and Gymboree but none had what I was looking for, besides the socks. Thanks!!

I was just at JCPenney yesterday and they had little white pants, with pockets and a white button, almost like Golf pants. Get a white onesie, white pants, I just bought all white socks for my daughter at Target , no grey toes or heels. Shouldn’t be hard at all to find some white clothing for him, and yeah , if the socks he has now leaves marks on his ankles, get bigger socks. Good luck

Adam answers:

I would go up a size in socks since they say they don’t want any marks. If your son is anything like mine, he has pudgy little feet. Also, try old navy, baby Gap, and department stores. Maybe they have some cute all white clothing.

Good luck!
